I want to make a sweet potato Pie. Obviously I want it to taste really good. But I don't want it to taste like pumpkin. Sweet Potatoes are my favorite vegetable. I want there to be a strong Sweet Potato taste to the pie.Anyone have a good recipe for Sweet Potato Pie?
I always make my pie on the fly but I'll give you the general ingredients.
sweet potato
vanilla yogurt
brown sugar
orange zest
eggs
nutmeg
butter
cinnamon
salt
ginger
vanilla/bourbon depending on your taste (paula deen trick)
The pie tastes different every time I make it. But I add and subtract things depending on my mood.
