drain cut in smaller chunks add dabs of butter and brown sugar and I love to put pecans and marshmellows on top. juat cook about 30 min on 300. you can always add more of all the ingredants if needed at anytime while cooking.

Really you mean yams because I've never seen sweet potatoes canned: Drain add 1/2 cup OJ 2 tablespoons apple pie spice and 1/2 cup maple syrup bake at 450 for 25 minutes or drain mash add 2 tablespoons melted butter salt and pepper.
Just mash em up add some butter, salt and pepper and a spoonful of maple syrup you are ready to go! YUMMMM
