Does anybody have some good sweet potato recipes WITHOUT nutmeg?

I only make them once a year for Thanksgiving. I invite lots of people over and each year, they rave over my sweet potatos.

I make them similar to mashed potatoes but with lots of cream, butter and brown sugar (a LOT). Then I take more brown sugar and butter, melt them in a pan and add pecans. Put the potatos in a oven-safe bowl and add the candied pecans on top. Cover and bake in the oven until warm.Does anybody have some good sweet potato recipes WITHOUT nutmeg?
I personally don't like nutmeg and I just don't use it in recipes that call for it.

I seen someone on here mentioned a sweet potato recipe using cranberries and walnuts. I suppose you could add them to the usual butter and brown sugar and just use your judgement about how many to add (that is to your taste), or just use the crushed walnuts as a garnish. I think hazelnuts would work just as well.Does anybody have some good sweet potato recipes WITHOUT nutmeg?
if you don't like nutmeg, just don't add it. try going sweeter by adding apples, orange juice, etc.
I cook sweet potatoes in the same way as normal potatoes, just bake them in the oven in their skins and they are delicious with butter and black pepper. Or chop them into chunks, drizzle with a little oil and seasoning and then roast them.
well, you don't ever HAVE to use nutmeg. i use cinnamon, sugar and butter on my sweet potatoes. if you're making a pie and it calls for it, just don't use it.
cook some potatoes, mash them up,add half a bag of sugar.would that be sweet enough for you.?
Slice sweet potatos into thin slices, like disks. Toss with a little olive oil (or melted butter if you prefer) season and bake in a glass baking dish till tender. I like mine tossed in curry powder with raisins and walnuts, but it really works with most seasoning (herbs, spices, garlic, etc)
